I write stories.

Jennifer Frost

I write about people drawn from obscurity by half-understood forces, emerging from solitude and loneliness into a strange new light. Haunted by the quiet ache of childhood, they wander in search of the place that might welcome them, the home that might still be found. On their journeys, they reckon with the oldest questions—belonging, inheritance, and the fragile hope of becoming whole.

Jennifer Frost completed her MFA in Creative Writing from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles in 2025. Her short story, “The Big Smoke,” was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Writers’ Digest 94th Annual Writing Competition, 2025. Her work has appeared in publications like Twenty-two Twenty-eight, Chained Muse, and The Evening Street Review. Jennifer is a transplanted Midwesterner now living and writing under the Southern California palm trees.
